Which McCain to Vote For

I just finished watching the second of the three Presidential Debates for the second time and my head is kind of spinning. At this point in the campaign for President there are now 4 distinctly different people in the race. You have Barack Obama running against John McCain, John McCain and John McCain.
If I were Barack, Id stay home for the next debate and let the John McCains illustrate the stark contrasts between themselves. That would be a spirited discourse!
Recently McCain claimed that his singing debut about Bombing Iran was part of a private conversation with a war buddy and it wasnt part of a public comment. All 5 news network program followed that statement with footage of McCain at a Town Hall Rally, holding a microphone, standing in the center of the town hall, singing his threats against Iran. I think John McCain should point out John McCains lack of understanding of foreign policy and shut him up, once and for all!
Any time Obama mentioned George Bush, one John McCain criticized Obama for dwelling on the past so much. He says Obama is living in the past by drawing comparisons between McCain and the current regime. In the same debate, another John McCain invokes the memories of Ronald Raegan, a President from
20 years ago, and Teddy Roosevelt, even further back in our history, as heroes he feels he emulates in his plan for the economy. The third goes on to talk about Lebanon while trying to establish his foreign policy expertise.
During this debate One McCain criticizes Barack Obama for his plans to expand government and accuses him of wild unrealistic plans on spending that the US Economy cant sustain. Unfortunately another John McCain had, just a moment ago, proposed his plan to buy up all the bad mortgages out there, and re- negotiate the rates so people could stay in their homes. The next day, a third McCain jumped in to amend the second John McCains plan to say that the mortgages would be purchased at their Current market value so the wild and unrealistic spending would be less than the second John McCains plan.
One John McCain says that America needs a steady hand at the tiller. Another suspends his campaign for President of the United States to go to Washington to fix Americas problems. Then one McCain proceeds to dissolve an agreement that was at the point of being agreed upon already, and refuses to show up for the debate until an agreement has been reached. The second John McCain evidently didn't get the memo and showed up at the debate against the expresses intent of the first.
All three John McCains go out on the campaign trail, just before the debate, to advocate for separate solutions to the Wall Street Meltdown. One says, let the market sort it out, another calls for the firing of the head guy at the FEC and the third calls for the resignation of the head of the SEC.
Not quite three weeks ago, one John McCain said, The fundamentals of the American Economy are strong. The second one had to correct him by pointing out that we are in an economic crisis and the third, not to be out done, informs us that the term Fundamentals refers to the American Workers, who are the best and strongest in the world. Presumably, those would be the workers who still have jobs after the deregulations that have shipped a huge quantity of their jobs overseas. Those would be the very deregulations supported by the other 2 John McCains.
One John McCain is criticizing Obama for his one distant tie to Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac. This appears to be an embarrassment to the other two John McCains whose top Campaign brass is composed of several Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae lobbyists who have spent the last decade or so fighting against the types of regulation the first John McCain is now proposing.
It appears that this multiple personality disorder that the John McCains are having is infecting the Vice Presidential Candidate as well. One Sarah Palin criticizes Barack Obama for having radical and subversive friends while the other, and her husband, have even tighter connections with the Alaska Independence Party up there right next door to Russia. The leaders of this fringe group want to secede from the United States and have on record some anti-American statements that make Jeremiah Wrights trash talking look like "
Up-With-People" from the 60s.
One Sarah Palin is a Maverick Reformer that has a reputation for cleaning up the dirty politics in Alaska. Unfortunately the other Sarah Palin is refusing to cooperate with an investigation into Reforming her Governorship for abusing the power of her office during the short time she was there! This aught to be a good one, Chick Fights are always entertaining! PLEASE let it be a whipped cream or jello match! PLEASE!!!
All this is making my head spin as I head to the polls to vote. If I cast my vote for John McCain, exactly which of these John McCains does my vote go to?
And, finally, I have a little tid-bit of advice for the Obama Campaign that I learned in the Military Academy of my youth in Michigan. When your opponent is busy shooting himself in the foot, try not to interrupt!
Much Love, Gregory
