Opportunity Knocks Part I - Wall Street
The world seems like its going to hell in a hand-basket all of a sudden. Financial Markets, The Housing Industry, US Auto Makers, The Republican Party, they all seem to be circling the drain right now. Unlike investors in the Great Depression, I dont feel like jumping out an office window. Last night I was watching the first day of the Democratic National Convention and I was amused by the confusion it caused for the commentators on both MSNBC and CNN. Everyone agreed that the two main events for the evening, Michelle Obama and Teddy Kennedy, were memorable. What seemed to bother the commentators, however, was the lack of a message. Iraq: Fun With Numbers
I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who is watching the story about the alleged murders of Iraqi civilians by BlackWater Operatives in Iraq. It’s a grizzly story and, by rights, SHOULD be reported and investigated thoroughly. If these operatives are guilty of murder, they SHOULD be prosecuted to the full extent of the law!
